This is Rick Jensen, editor of GMHTP.
On behalf of our entire staff, I'd like to welcome you to GM High-Tech Performance online.
Please feel free to check out our newly revamped forums.

The LSX phenomenon continues to progress, and the revolutionary LS1/LS6 and LS2/LS7 will soon be giving way to even more spectacular GM engines. If you're a big fan of the LS series, this is the forum for you.

We hope you enjoy our new look; for questions, concerns, or magazine/website feedback, you can contact me directly at rick.jensen@primedia.com.

I know the LSX Block is for sale now - Question: Do you know when the LSX is coming out as a Crate Engine and I also need to know what the Estimate Price is going to be.
Thanks !

Rick,
GMHTP is one great magazine.I have a 2005 Z51 Corvette that I use for HPDEs & street.
I have over 34K on my Vette and many hours of track time at The Glen,VIR, CMP,Putnam Park,& Road Atlanta tracks.
I have been following all of the L92 build ups and I planing on doing a motor soon for my Vette.
I have LG Motorsports longtube header,Exedy twin disk clutch, LGM CF drivshaft,Roll Bar, Race seats, 6 pt harnesses along with many other track mods.
Do you know if the L92 heads with D exhaust ports will work with my LGM headers?
I know I could ask LG because they also have a L92 head kit like SLP has but with a special LGM cam.I will end up going to LGM for the kit when the time comes for more HP.   Keep up the good work.
Respectfully

C6RAPTOR

Those headers should work, the SLP headers in the swap we did on an F-body in the July '07 issue had no issues to my knowledge. However, headers with a D exhaust port flange would be ideal. I'm not sure if there will be any fitment or emissions issues, but when headers are available for the '08 Vette that might work as a replacement. Otherwise I'd call LG or Kooks and see if they can accommodate you.

Best of Luck,
Scott

6.0 iron block. Those 370's are hard to beat and you can get a forged shortblock for less than $3000.

Been reading the mag for over 6 yrs and love it. I'm on my 2nd LS car and trying to go all out with it.
