hi all,iam a long time subscriber of this mag, and the only thing i have to say is MORE TPI BUILDS. ive been reading "something old something new", but i must say "more".iam also a member to thirdgens.org. there, there are many people like me looking for ideas. In the article out now you guys are building a monster, but most of us just want some good head and cam combos, or what would be the best intake setup. I MUST say though we dont want to hear about HSR or a mini ram. we want something that looks like a stock TPI. they have guys on the web site that are running all motor 11s and low 12s. so, in short there are a hole bunch of us (about 5000) that want to see the, long since put to pasture, tpi make a comeback.

i also must say, in the first installment of "something old something new" you stated that you hope this starts a TPI revolution. well, i think it did. so start fueling the fire. for you guys, if you do this, it should bring new subscribers. I could spread the word for you. i can tell a lot of these guys dont read the mag(do to there lack of truthfull knowage). just let me know what you guys think. peace, mike.

Yes! As far as I am concerned, you can never have enough on the TPI engines. I have always loved the L98. I feel the TPI is still the most impressive looking small block ever. I have one in my Corvette and I am plannig to build one for my 3/4 ton truck. Give me torque!

I have a large CI 89 formula 350 and it has a mini ram for obvious reasons. However I would like to see a TPI done in the same type of plastic that the LSX motors use.. Make it so smaller/bigger/shorter/longer runners/plenums/bases of different sizes can be used for all different CI motors.. Now how cool would that be??? A silver plastic that looked close to stock would just add to it... SLEEEEEEEPER

I have been thinking the same thing. I would love to see a plastic TPI intake. Less weight and no giant heatsink.
