either get something awesome or crap. My friend purchased a 4g63t for his 91 talon tsi awd. The motor crapped out with around 2k on it. It was a stock longblock that cost him around 2k. Then he spent 3k and bought a built short block off of ebay and that motor is still in the car. Just be careful for someone that doesn't have feedback..ect.

One of the keys to buying off e-bay is feedback rating. If a person has negative feedback check it out, some feedback is just BS. We recently bought a 383 stroker off e-bay and it was a good deal. Just remember use your head.Ther are alot of ripoffs out there and e-bay is no different.

I myself have never bought anything major off ebay, just a couple lil nic naks, Just be sure to check the feedback rating and look at other buyers comments on the seller.

Also when you check the feedback rating, look to the right of the feedback comments of someone whose already purchased a motor from them & email or where it says contact each & every member you can & see if they're satisfied or had any problems with the engine also. asked how did they recieve item, how long did it take, etc. everything you can thing of sometimes they'll respond but everynow & then they wont hth.
