I plan to convert a LT1 engine out of an Impala SS to a carburetor and install in a 1940 Ford. I will eliminate the stock A/C and Alt brackets. Has anyone made this conversion? What A/C and Alt brackets did you use?
Any information will help!
Thanks Perry

UPDATE!!!!
I have completed  the conversion of a LT1 to a carburetor. I now have a question.
The engine is running great. I used Alen Grove A/C & alternator componants.
I am now haveing a problem the engine breathing. I have GM value covers with the center bolts, a PCV hole and oil fill on the driver's side. A breather hole on the passanger side. I cannot find the right  combination for the engine to breath. Oil blows out of the passanger side value cover through the breather cap.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Perry/runnerps
