What transmision will work on a FWD supercharged  3800 V6 out of a
Buick/Pontiac? Want a trany to make it a rear wheel drive. Will the
trany from an 97 - 02 Camaro/ Firebird work. If so what is the model
number.

the 700R4 / 4L60 trans from about 97-02 in any GM rear wheel drive car should have the same bolt pattern. Do some more research before buying anything, as I'm not 100% positve.

To bigdog you may be interested that in Australia we have a production 3800 engine with a supercharger that was used until the mid 2000's on a production commodore. the transmission used is a Hydramatic Turbo700.
When the 3800 engine was first used in a RWD car in 1988 there were oil leak and cooling problems because of the change from east west to north south. This was rectified in the first upgrade and the engine was much improved. The Supercharged engine was upgraded again and is called Echotech. The radiator hoses connect to the front in the upgraded engines instead of on the RHS as in the early model. If you have your heart set on this conversion you could save yourself a lot of grief by importing one og these engines complete with tranny. Power is 170kw torque anout 400nm don't know what the conversion is.
