I am trying to intstall a camshaft new timing chain and new optispark and do some head work. I got all the way to the cam swap and I cannot, for my life, Get the Hub off the Crankshaft. I have heated it, broken two pullers on it, and used an impact on it. It will not come off. Any suggestions or somebody that has had this problem and knows what I am going through, Please Help!!!!!

tell Me how you are putting your puller on.the big thing is that the hub on the lt1 is not like the older balancers.you need to put a longer bolt into the cranksnout and push against it.if you dont you are actually pushing againt the hub itself.

New member, first post. LT1 MY95 Got to pull the Opti again, suspect a carbon line. rough idle, backfires. Searching for the proper gm puller for the lt1 hub. I put one together and it worked last time, but I'd really like to have the correct one. On the same subject, anyone know of the number of a speedi-sleeve for the lt1 hub and where it might be available? thanks Pete
