I purchased my 2005 SS the day Katrina hit in 2005!  Living here in Mississippi you must be oppurtunistic and as such I purchased my SS from a dealership in Mobile, AL the day Katrina entered the Gulf via the internet.  I have been really happy with the truck, however the dealership really bites.

The reason I write this is that finding performance information for a LQ9 is practically impossible.  I am to the point of wanting to wake it up, but am having trouble finding technical info about the HO 6.0 L LQ9.

The items I have purchased so far for this truck: K&N FIPK, Throttle body spacer, Flowmaster 50 series muffulator with dual inlet and dual outlets at 2.250" dia.  I have yet to install these as that I wish to do this all at the same time.  I am looking for some long tube headers w/ O2 bungs, O2 extensions, an exhaust system that will bolt into stock location, programmer, performance intake manifold.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Mark

Hey there.. go and checkout a magazine called Chevy Hi Performance. A while back they had an article where they took a Silverado SS and made it run mid 11s. The articles have everything and dyno number and all the info you need. i know you go online and look past issues or call them and request past issues.. Check it out.
