I would like to hookup a 3rd party sensor to my 5.7 LS1 and was wondering if I just install a t-junction on the current sensor if that would be okay (space permitting). I've checked and can't seem to find a suitable place for that sensor. I have the same situation for the water temp if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.

I put an ls1 in my 64 vette and used an Auto meter adapter and temp sensor in the right rear head for my gauge and continue to use the front left for the computer. As far as the oil pressure sensor I am using the tap at the back of the manifold, but I also have a oil cooler that plumbs in right above the oil filter where there is a blockoff plate. I know of a local speed shop that sells the new plate that has a hole for the sensor, let me know.

Lingenfelter performance makes an aluminum block that replaces the plate above the oil filter and have two spots for feed. Just block one off and put the sensor in the other. Costs $69 bucks, but sometimes they'll put them on ebay for $10-$15. You cold accuatally make the same thing also for prob under $10.
