whats a good place to start with the exhaust on these cars,ditch the converter?headers and 2.5 inch y-pipe? 3 inch intermediate pipe?whats have you guys had good luck with?

Check out the March '05 issue, there are some good tips in there. Long tube headers, Y-pipe and a catback are a good way to go...Hawks Third Gen just came out with some really nice pieces. Definitely ditch the factory intake asap, an LT1 intake conversion is probably the most economical way about it, but you can probably make more power with a StealthRam or Mini-Ram.

thanks for the imput scott,hawks is a little too expensive for my taste,summit has way better prices on there exhaust components.is a mini ram too much intake for the 305?
