I have a 2007 trail blazer, mid sized engine. Where is the oil filter and what fram filter is it?

You can contact the parts department at the dealership who can help with this. Also, most auto parts stores now have computer systems to help. You didn't mention engine size and location of oil filters locations and types differ from engine to engine.

I have always used the 6.0 2500hd filters on all my GM LSX vehicles v8s 4.8,5.3,5.7,6.0 Its bigger so it filers more
