With gas hitting over $3.50 for 91 grade does anyone have any tips on how to get more miles out of a tank of gas?

Change your oil and filter every 3k miles, make sure your air filter is clean (replace if necessary), make sure other maintenance is up to spec (such as fuel filter), use a high quality injector cleaner such as Redline regularly, and drive as conservatively as possible (using cruise control whenever possible). Also be wise when modifying your car, some mods will increase fuel mileage like an air intake, catback exhaust or computer tune while others like a torque converter, gears, big cam, stroker motor, or forced induction will rapidly decrease it.

Hi Folks... • Drive Smoother: The smoother you accelerate and decelerate, the better your gas mileage, with potential gas savings of 33 percent on the highway and 5% around town. Consumers who currently drive erratically can pocket the equivalent 48 cents a gallon by driving more smoothly.
• A synthetic motor oil can improve fuel efficiency quite a bit. Even if you don't believe the outrageous claims from oil and additive makers (and you shouldn't), you can realize a 5% to 10% gain by switching to a synthetic motor oil such as Mobil 1.
• Don't Speed: For every 5 mph you reduce highway speed, you can reduce fuel consumption by 7 percent. If you typically drive 70 on the highway and slow down to 65, it''s the equivalent of saving 19 cents a gallon.
• You can’t just lose 100 pounds, but you can off load the extra junk carried around. For every 100 extra pounds carried around, your vehicle loses 1-2 percent in fuel efficiency. For every 100 lbs you unload, you're saving the equivalent of 4 cents per gallon.
