I will be one of the cars attending this event. There should be a broad range of cars at this event. A fair amount of the cars going will be trying to run their personal best times. With any luck the current records for quickest LTx powered cars will be beaten at this event.
Thanks

Hello GMHT! I love the rag and I am a subscriber. I am signed up for this event also and have every intention of attending. This event has the LTx community buzzing with excitement. I cant speak for the others but GMHT is partly responsible for my illness. Its usually fatal. I suffer from the "I dont have enough time to build, test and tune my hot rod" virus. There are many in the LTx world that suffer from the same illness. In April of 2008 there will be many making the trek to Kansas City in hopes of finding a cure for this dreaded virus. The only known cure is to work it out of the system. My fear is that with this many infected guys and gals in one place, it may be turned into a LTx quarantine area. The LTx quarantine manual says if such an area is declared, the quarantined must do battle to find any hope of alleviating the symptoms this dreaded disease. The way I see it, it is the DUTY of GMHT to warn the country of the extreme aggressiveness of the treatment that is required to send the illness into remission for at least a year, so the quarantine can be lifted and the LTx victims can return home. From what I hear, some of the finest and fastest LTx surgeons will be there to help administer the life saving procedures. So GMHT, do this country and the medical community a service. Report the goings on and possible cure of this nasty and aggressive LTx virus. Hanging on for now….
