Any Buzz on when the G8 is going to be in production

I currently own a 2004 GTP which I have put a few miles on for work... I am very excited about purchasing the new G8 but am getting very frustrated and over anxious for its release. Does anyone have an idea of when this may be?

Hey Scott,
The dealers are taking orders for the G8's and only a small supply will arrive at a time. I heard that there was a Pontiac dealer in town that had their Grand Opening sometime this week, and I think GM blessed them with their very own Pontiac G8 GT in Red. The first 888 G8 GT's owners will get a special vehicle identification number. I'm sure with that number, the G8 GT will surely become a collector's item in the future, and of course, a classic. I will wait for this car because i will not be ready to grab one of the first 888 G8 GT's that roll out. It will only cost around $35,000 if it unleashes sometime next year. GM has been seen testing it in Detroit. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
