will a 12 rear from a A-body olds bolt up in a A-body chevy(chevelle),

Yes. All the A-bodies uses the same chassis, so a 12-bolt from an Olds A-body with fit a Chevelle, Skylark, LeMans, etc.
BUT, it has to be the same chassis design. 64-67 A-bodies used the old 115" wheelbase chassis with leaf springs. '68-'72 A-bodies used a shorter wheelbase and had a coil spring suspension in the rear.
