I have a 86 vette TPI motor with the 91 TPI computer and wiring harness in a 90 chevy Pickup. All summer truck ran like a champ. This winter when it started getting cold it start to not want to start and when it would it would sputter and backfire. I changed out the intake temp sensor helped a little but problem did not go away. I parked the truck for about 3 weeks I went away for work, now that I am back it will not start at all it sputters a little but will not crank. It has new rotor, cap, wire and plugs. It apears to be getting fuel I don't have a prssure gauge but it is getting fuel to the rails. Any ideas would be great. I am at my wits end with this problem

Check the cold start injector switch, and/or make sure the cold start injector is fireing. If either of these things are not working, it's like trying to start without a choke.

He stated he has a 91 computer running it. In 91 there was no more cold start injector (9th injector). Just check you usuals: fuel, spark and compression. then get back with us
