c5 brake upgrade

I am considering upgrading the brakes on a gen IV 96 firebird and of course cost and performance are a consideration. I know paying the big bucks for Baer or SSBC would give the best performance but would also be the highest price. GMHTP did a gen III article several issues back but I could not find the before and after performance numbers. Did you publish any performance numbers? Has anyone compared actual performance between standard LS1 brakes and a C5 Z06 brake upgrade on the gen IV's?

I am new to the site, noticed your inquiry.Have heard alot about the brake upgrade on your car.Brake performance is stated as much better and cosmetics is also a plus. I own a 2002 twin turo Z06 with 8000 miles and upgraded to the 2007 Z06 brakes (rotors, calipers, pads) and i have the rotors, calipers, pads, brackets and hoses that i am going to put up for sale if you may become interested.

How much for all parts? To estimate shipping, where will you ship from?
