I found your magazine yesterday when my wife and I were out at the local bookstore looking to kill our boredom. Mostly due to the excessive rains of Hanna, and the excessive flow of her monthly friend.
After glancing through the usual high dollar engine shootout, and "What color to paint your door knobs for '69 Camaros". I was happy to see a publication dedicated to Lsx engined cars. Even more so I was happy to see a basic bolt-on article for a Z28 with dyno numbers. The fact that it is the bastard year 98 was just icing on the cake.
Many of us have families and budgets to contend with, which don't allow big dollar investments like F.I and engine swaps. Though I do enjoy reading them, I'd much rather read about real world combo's like the ones you find at Atco on any giving day. Those particular articles interest me mostly because, I too own a 98 Z(A4,3.23) and have 3 kids and a wife to maintain. Buying my cat-back and lid was a purchase that had to be budgeted, and the results were worth the price. I went from a 13.64@101.5 to a 13.38@104.34.
Now I'm considering my next Mod, T. converter, Headers, LS6 itake, Though I'd love to do all of them at once I'll have to do them one at a time. It was helpful to read that I may pick up around 20 Hp with Headers, and I wasn't even considering the Thermostat, but I am now. Thanks alot for the great issue and look for my check in the mail for a subscription.

Thanks for reading and thanks for the kind words. We should have more articles with that '98 Z28 upcoming. If you thought a catback and air lid made a difference, wait until you feel what a set of headers and a converter will do. The restricted LS1 intake has to go on our project car, too. Thankfully there are quite a few intake options out there.

I'll be looking forward to those upcoming issues. The only thing that I can think of that would make it better would be if the car was an A4, say maybe a silver one with a cat-back and lid. I may know where one is located,   .
