Does it really get 30 mpg on the highway?
I want to buy a 3rd gen body and drop the 99 engine in it for the added gas mileage and power...

Accourding to Fuel Economy.com this is the mpg for 99 Camaro:
6 cyl, 3.8 L, Automatic 4-spd, Regular: 17 City/26 HWY
6 cyl, 3.8 L, Manual 5-spd, Regular: 17 City/28 HWY
8 cyl, 5.7 L, Automatic 4-spd, Premium: 17 City/23 HWY
8 cyl, 5.7 L, Manual 6-spd, Premium: 17 City/26 HWY
