1996 impala with an ls1 question

just want anyones opinion on this one..i own an 66 impala 1996 and i was just wandering how difficult it would be to install an ls1 engine into this car with oainless wiring providing the wire harness and with me using my 4l60e tranny thats already in the car...just wanted to know what the public thinks on this one thank you

Not having done that swap myself, I cannot comment on the difficulty. However, I do know that several people have done the swap. There are some good write-ups with info over at http://www.impalassforum.com if you haven't looked around there yet.
