Both these companys have excellent heads.Give each one a call and talk to a tech adviser.I don't think you will lose any sleep on picking one head over the other. Both will make serious power with your combo. Good luck

GM High Tech mag had this topic as their cover article this month. Check out what they tested. I agree that which ever you choose between those two will not disapoint. They are both good brands that are very close in performance. I doubt yull notice the difference. Personally, go with the one with the better deal. Cheaper is usually not better, unless yur choosing between two big name brands with proven performance.

I was just going to say the same...plenty of good heads to choose from. If you are looking on the cheaper end of things then a ported (or un-ported) factory casting is probably the way to go (LS6, LS3, L92, etc). Aftermarket castings tend to cost more, but you get what you pay for. Two heads we didn't include in that buyer's guide would be the ultra cheap L92 heads from SLP and the CNC-ported LS3/L92 heads from Texas-Speed. We've tested both N/A on 402-416 strokers and made over 570hp, but that shouldn't dissuade you from cathedral port heads either as they can be just as capable.
