Active Fuel Management in modified LS2

I am wondering if anyone knows if an aftermarket cam affects the Active Fuel Management feature on the LS2 motor. I want to hook up my GTO but I don't want to give up my 28 mpg as the goat is my daily driver. I guess it would also be important to know if an l76 intake or l92 heads affect the cylinder deactivation, too. Will an l76 intake fit on the stock ls2 heads? I wanna modify everything in my car but, as always, money is an issue.
