I have noticed that the largest rim width for the new camaro is 9.5 inches. Does anyone know if there is space in the wells for a 11-12 inch rim?

Jason,
I wouldn't be suprised to see some large (both around and wide) wheels on the new 2010+ Camaro but I agree with Mike that it will take some time to find out. I have seen this car in person several times but never looked that close.
GM did have a measuring session for the manufacturers a while ago, so it is possible that wheels are already being made. The G8 and GTO both have had very NARROW wheels, hopefully the new Camaro has addressed this issue

I certainly wouldn't consider 9.5" wheels as narrow. My stock 07' ZO-6 Vette has 9.5's w/275 rubber front and 12's w/325 rubber rear. I can't imagine anyone trying to stuff 325's into a Camaro. I have a duplicate set in the basement, wearing Hoosier R6's for track days. Most people that see this stuff, pretty much freak out as the size of these things.
