just wondering

I was just wondering if there is anyway I can post a pic of my car as my avatar and how,also how do I post pics of the project as I go?thanks Gabe  

Since we don't allow direct picture uploads this is how you can link a picture to your avatar or the forums.

Before we start you must have a picture uploading account from a place like flickr or something similar to it. You upload all your photos there and then you can start putting photos to your avatar and forums.

Avatar: Once you have the photo you want uploaded you go to My Account>Update Account> and scroll down to Avatar. Copy the entire web address of the image and paste it into the text box next to the Get Image button. Once that is done click the Get Image button and then click on the Save Changes button and your done.

Image: To upload an image you must Reply to a post or create a new one. Once you have  the text area open click onto the image button. It looks like a yellow box with mountains. A pop-up will come up asking for the web address of the image. Paste it in there and continue writing your post or click preview to see how it looks. Once your satisfied click post to make it live.
