what up,need a little advice,I have an 05 vho silverado w/6.0 and my mods include a 4''cold air intake, throttle body spacer, stock maf sensor w/the screen removed, pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers,no cat exhaust, and a custom 91,93 program.i keep getting a check engine light and it says bay 1 and 2 are rich, also it idles very low at times and almost kills,I also noticed a little smoke out of the exhaust at idle and it smells like very rich, could my problem be the maf sensor.any advice would be appreciated

first off, remove the throttle body spacer, buy a new GM MAF sensor (that's most of your problem there), I assume that by "custom 91,93 program" you mean you got a hypertech or some other junk handheld, buy a mail order or dyno tune and have the rear 02 sensors programmed out

I put a new maf sensor but the problem was still there.the truck was dynotuned before the headers were changed and the rear o2's were supposed to be deleted,I took my cats off and never got any codes, when I put the headers on I just removed the rear o2's thinking they were deleted. That was the problem,I put rear o2's back in and now it runs great. But it still feels like I may have lost some power on the bottom of the rpm range.next I will try a 3000 stall converter to put me in the power range.(why would you say to remove the throttle body spacer?)
