Hi guys, I have a couple questions regarding a C5 Z06 brake swap on a 1989 RS Camaro. I read your article "Third-Gen F-Body C5 Corvette Brakes - Z(06)28" and have a couple questions, first would all the machining of the spindle and original rotor (such as the drilling/tapping and grinding the rotor) lead to any structural or balancing problems? Second, I know prices have risen for the parts list you gave and since I don't really trust myself to do any of the machine work, would you still consider the braking/cost benefits of the Z06 setup better than going with an after market setup (such as Baer or Wilwood)? And my last question is if you have any test numbers on the swap or a rough estimate it sounded like the improvement was very good in the article, I know Motor Trend measured 104 ft 60-0 but that was with the rear brakes and everything else. Any information would be extremely helpful, love the magazine and keep up the good work. Thanks.
