I just bought a SBC 350 and it has a set of heads with some casting marks that I have never seen before. I do not have the numbers yet but the marks are three equal length bars that are about 3/4's inch long. on one side of the head the bars are flat ( they look machined )and the other side they are rounded surface. What do they stand for? Does anyone know what the valve size might be?

Sounds like those low performance truck heads but not sure post a pic of them or post the casting numbers and then I can tell you for sure. If they are those low performance truck heads they most likely will have 1.72/1.50 valves and 76cc chambers.
