V V T CAM

I HAVE AFTERMARKET RACE CAM IN MY C-10 350 THAT IS TOO ROUGH ! I'M LOOKING TO CHANGE THE CAM TO MILD , SOMETHING THAT WILL GIVE ME GOOD VACCUMN SO I CAN GET RID OF THE ELECTRIC VACCUMN PUMP. AND SO MY TRUCK WILL IDLE SMOOTH. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IMPUT ON RHOADS VVT CAM KIT. IS IT A GOOD SETUP ? THANKS

VVT? as in variable valve timing?

you have a 4.8/5.3/6.0? you need: cold air intake, exhaust system and a tune, see my posts for more details!

I think that would be the wrong cam for your application, the VVT cams are designed for the newer Gen III/IV engines with VVT and displacement on demand, these engines use 2 sets of everything for V8/V6/V4 mode
but I may be mistaken
