I picked up a subscription to your magazine at last years super chevy show and since then you have become my favorite magazine.  I have subscribed to several truck mags in the past and the tech articles along with the poor info on the fetures led me to let them run out without renewing them.  I loved the features you ran on the typhoon and the trail blazer ss, but they seem few and far between.  dont get me wrong, I love vettes and f-bodies, but fast trans-ams are a dime a dozen, there are 3 at my work alone.  I know there are quite a few swapped s-10s out there(I have a 2000 s10 with a cammed 6.0 and built drive train.)  there are also many classic cars out there with built ls motors, my next project is a pontiac ventura with a mild 5.3 that will be my wifes daily driver.  I have seen novas, belairs, chevelles, monte carlos, chevy luvs, and even things like datsun 280z's that had beautifully done swaps worthy of being in magazines.  there are also quite a few sick trucks out there running turbos, super chargers, forged nitrous builds, and just about anything else you could imagine.

on a side note I love reading about the daily drivers you guys feature, an 11 second daily is far more impressive to me then a 9 second dedicated track car.  Also anything that is built in a home garage with a few good friends is a pleasure to read.  I hear so many people say "You cant work on these new cars yourself", I love reading the tech articles you guys run because they show that people can and do work on new cars.

fullsizes are awesome too, don't forget them

my buddy's 12 second '06 silverado turbo'd 5.3, lifted on 35's and heavy 20s is waaaaaaaaaaay cooler than any F-body on the road
2003 Chevy Silverado

you have a 4.8/5.3/6.0? you need: cold air intake, exhaust system and a tune, see my posts for more details!

We hear you man! Scott and I love the swaps and truck too. We are always looking for feature worthy builds, so if you come across something PLEASE post it up here, on our facebook or email me.

Diesel swaps are gaining in popularity too. We've included a few sources for both VW and Cummins diesel conversions. The web is deluged with good diesel conversion information, including 4BTSwaps.com, devoted to Cummins four-cylinder conversions, and The Diesel Page (thedieselpage.com), which offers a Duramax/Allison retrofit guide.
