does anyone have any experience with any of the tuning software found on ebay?? There are a few listings for software that says it will work with virtually all obd2 vehicles and you can remap timing, fuel curve, fan temps. and the software is like $10 - $20. needless to say i have some doubts. This is why i am asking you guys.

billkad,

Do you have any links for these?

What kind of car / engine are you looking to tune?

no, stay away, unless you know what you're doing, you WILL f something up, and these "kits" are a good way to guarantee you'll need a new motor

either spend the $1000 on the right software (efi live or hp tuners) or have a real tuner do it for you for around $300

google: nelson performance, Wheatley tuning, blackbear performance, Zippy performance
2003 Chevy Silverado

you have a 4.8/5.3/6.0? you need: cold air intake, exhaust system and a tune, see my posts for more details!

Yes, avoid this. I recommend HP Tuners software. Also, you could visit www.thetuningschool.com They were featured not long ago in GMHTP.
