In a Yukon, I would try and keep the cam mild. You need all of the torque you can get, so consult Mast Motorsports or Comp Cams and they should be able to steer you to the right bumpstick while keeping your VVT. I believe Stainless Works has a set of headers for your truck, so a cam (maybe valve springs) plus long-tube headers and exhaust should give you a significant performance increase. Through in a custom tune and a cold air intake and you should be all set. The stock intake manifold should be sufficient for this setup. If that isn't enough power then it is time for a supercharger: House of Boost, Magnuson and Vortech all make truck kits. A Magnacharger TVS or Vortech twin screw are highly recommended for big torque off the line, the HOB centrifugal kit will give you a better top end.

Best Regards,
your stock air intake is very efficient, what you need to do is check into replacing the air intake tube, leave the stock airbox, just replace the ducting and resonators with a smoother tube
then, cat-back exhaust of some sort
but both of these are kind of BS anyway, you're not going to be making huge gains
without tearing into an engine, a professional tuner will definately wake up that 6.2 (blackbear performance, wheatley, Nelson performance there's tons of people out there)
a higher-stalling torque converter is going to give the biggest gains at this point in time (check out Yank performance, circle D, PI)
your heads are already some of the best flowing available, don't mess with them, as well as your intake manifold, its good enough for a 500+ hp application, its good enough, don't mess with it
if you've really got your heart set on a cam, check out Thunder Racing and Comp, see what they recommend
cliff notes: intake tube, exhaust, converter, tune, that will get you rolling
2003 Chevy Silverado
you have a 4.8/5.3/6.0? you need: cold air intake, exhaust system and a tune, see my posts for more details!

Hi all,
Sorry friends for being a way for long time...and thanks a lot for your replies...
Sorry for my bad English..we speak arabis, and I studied in Denver for three years..
my name is Juma from UAE - Dubai. we are crazy about cars tuning..mostly we tune Nissan Patrol with GM engines...
I installed Comp cam stage 2 for VVT with springs. a also tuned the company computer. I put corsa catback....But i didnt feel that much difference
They tuned the computer with HP tuner...are there any good tuned fils that are tested.
Dear h20son, I was planing to get a performance Heads an intake, but you said dont miss with them...waht do you mean by this ???
what do you mean by : a higher-stalling torque converter is going to give the biggest gains at this point in time (check out Yank performance, circle D, PI)
Are their any professional people they can guide me on the best way to increace the engine performance without having supercharcher
Thanks a lot again,
