what is the best cam for the 5.3

i have an 09 silverado single cab with flowmaster 40 series exhaust dumped in the back. i was thinkin bout puttin the ls6 cam in but i was readin somewhere that thats not really the most preferred cam for the 5.3 any suggestions?

depends on what you're doing, LS6 cam is the preferred dailydriver cam for a truck with forced induction, most will go with a TR224 or one close to that (212/214), with any of these, you're moving your powerband up farther, so understand that you won't be making any more torque down low, you'd benefit from gears in that department
long story short, LS6 cam wouldn't be worth the price of getting it installed

comp cam 54-408-11,or 54-455-11,lots of torque
