I have a '94 Firebird with the 3.4L V6, it has the stock automatic tranny in it. What I am looking for is someone that can point me in the right direction for a manual tranny swap. What tranny should I use (i.e. what tranny will bolt up to the stock 3.4L)and where would I get the right electrical components. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Miller,
Unfortunately, I am not terribly familiar with this conversion but it does look like a T56 6-Speed manual transmission would work. You will need a new flywheel and some crafty rigging on the hydraulic systems but you should be able to re-use your stock driveshaft. Of course, you will also need some pedals, but you could get those from any donor manual Firebird.
Check out fullthrottlev6.com, they may be able to give you some more help.
