Hello all, I am a newbie here and thought I'd see what I'd find. I currently have a 93 Trans Am. Here is a list of all its current upgrades: 195 Deg. Thermostat MSD Ignition 6A and MSD Coil 3.73 Gears in the Rearend Powerdyne Supercharger 4.5psi Accel 24 Lb Injectors Stage 2 Shift Kit 58mm BBK Throttle Body Plugs NGK TR-6 Edelbrock Headers BeCool 4 Core Aluminum Radiator Ported Intake Throttlebody side only(to accept 58mm Throttle body) Electric H2O pump Lowering springs 1.5” New MSD Distributor and Wires New Stock Computer Royal Purple Oil and ATF
The only mods I did were the new radiator and headers. Everything else was on it when I bought it. I have since lost a piston, and decided to go with a 383stroker for it. I have tried to get ahold of Powerdyne to find out info on cam sizes and compression ratios that their superchargers work well with, but their number on the site leads ot a company called O2performance and they don't answer either. Here are my questions: What would be the recomended compression ratio be? I was thinking 8.5:1. What size camshaft would be good? I would like to put in some 1.5 or 1.6 rockers as well. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance, Bob
