looking for information if a 66 cutlass chassis will fit a 67 tempest .

yes...  if they are both 2 door.. or both 4 door  convertible frames will fit hard tops..

4 door frames can be shortened to fit 2 door chassis...

station wagon frames can be modified to work under el caminos..

be sure to do a vin number check on the frame you are going to install... frames have VIN numbers... DO not modify or cover any VIN numbers found on the frame...    that gets the feds involved if it is ever inspected..

you might also want to read up in your states vehicle code.. on swapping frames..

some states check frame numbers when registering cars...



by the way.. you might also want to measure the distance between the upper control arm mounting brackets.
there is a spec for it...  31" 1/16 between the brackets measured where the shims contact area is..

this might help open the image in a new window for the whole thing at one time...
