Need info on pic in new GMHT

Hey everyone,
Its the issue with a white camaro on the cover and if you flip it over it has another cover and a few pages about the upcoming LSX st. louis shootout that are upside down.
Anyway, there is a red C6 Z06 that has a set of the skinny 17" Weld aluma-star 2.0 front rims on it and i need to know more about it or i need info to talk to the owner etc.
According to Weld these wheels wont fit due to the brake caliper clearance and obviously this guy did it and just wondered how.

I used a Custom spacer, the spacer is designed and sold by IPSMotorsports.net 614-444-5884.
