swap a 2007 tb ss 6.0 gen iv mtr into a 04 tahoe 2wd w/4.8 mtr

swap is being done by a local chevy dealer,well qualified tech. the 6.0 has active fuel mgmnt. we ordered a ligenfelter crank trigger (trg-002). question is how to lock the mtr in v8 mode & defeat the drop to 4cyl? any help would really be appreciated, thanks in advance.
