High performance clutch, ring & pinion for LT1/Tremec 6 speed.

My engine is a 508HP LT1 with LT4 top end mated to a Tremec "tranzilla" 6 speed, and I have never been impressed with the smoothness of shifts. Also there is quite a bit of noise when at idle out of gear which quiets when the clutch is depressed.  The clutch is a SPEC stage II-any thoughts on either adjustment or replacement to a better one? Also the ring and pinion in the Ford 9" are sound but noisy-recommendations on ratios? It is a 3:90 right now.  Thanks.
