The answer is never easy though a reputable manufacturer probably can offer a complete kit that only requires optional accessories. That of course depends on the power levels you decide to go to. My HVT2300 came with the reservoirs, plumbing, injectors etc. You do have to make some decisions on the enhancements. For instance a 6 or 8 rib drive. 6 rib may be adequate for your application but eventually, you may want more boost and the 6 rib might not hold it. Also for the popular superchargers with jackshafts, there is an optional COG rear drive. There are also optional pulley sizes for the supercharger. You can get overdriven or underdriven dampeners. I would highly recommend you consider having your dampener pinned.
The huge sucking sound is not just from the Supercharger compressor, but you should be able to find 150 or so horsepower in a complete kit. I could just never leave well enough alone. JMHO

Couldn't have said it better. There are a few different kits out there, most come with everything you need, but as you upgrade and desire more power...more things are needed (even larger injectors, fuel pump, etc). I would also recommend pinning the crank, whether using a stock balancer or aftermarket.

The pub here has some first class articles. That Maggie and Harrop kits are generally well thought out and very competitively priced. They also seem to be the most complete. I think the Edelbrock unit is out now and Whipple has some awesome opportunities for the Camaros and trucks. Some kits require fabrication. I'd defer to others on here. Research is your friend .
