Hello fellow GMHTP readers and staff,

First off let me say that as a long time reader, you guys at GMHTP never fail to impress! Awesome issue this month!  I just was studying the article entitled "Turbocharging 103: Cold side" and I had some questions about it.

I own a 2000 WS-6 with a 370 LQ9 with the APS twin turbo setup on it, and I was looking very much in to the Edelbrock Pro-Flo intake you guys used.  My questions are:

1. Did you guys have to modify the WS6 hood at all to allow this to fit?
2. Did you have any specs or diagrams for the cut you made to the cowl, so if readers wanted to do this, they could it as well?
3. Is it required/recommended to have solid motor mounts with your setup since its such a close fit in the cut in the cowl?
4. Does the new edelbrock intake accept most aftermarket fuel rails? I have a set of the trick flow brand high flow fuel rails.

Thanks in advance for information, and as always I eagerly await your next issue!

To paraphrase Justin on another board...

1. We will most likely have to cut a portion of the inner structure but it should be no big deal
2. No, but if you need help let us know and we will take some measurements
3. Not necessarily but at the very least polyurethane would be a good idea given the potential of your combo
4. Can't say, we haven't hooked up the rails and fuel system yet
