HI!
HELLO! I just bought a 350 engine 14093638 5.7 LG SGI. I think is a flat tappet.
How do I get 450 hp from it?

I would just pull the intake manifold. You better off that way. Then you can look inside to see what you have.
I would also pull the oil pan and check a few bearings. Check the mains #1 and #2 and rods #1 and #2 and #3 and #4. You'll get a good idea of what you bought. As far as making 450 horse power thats easy to do today.
You may have bougth something hot.
